Policy
Analysis (POLI AN)
Through our Policy Analysis component, the Foundation works with
local communities and government to develop policy and programs
that will be beneficial to the communities through a participatory
approach. We also provide monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
to ongoing projects.
Orphan
Care (ORPHCA)
Children are the hardest hit by the AIDS epidemic today, with
an estimated half a million (500,000) living in sub-Saharan Africa.
The Foundation has developed a number of small scale responses
like, soup kitchen, back to school, home care, wellness program
all of which ensure that these children are minimally taken care
of.
Emergency
AID (E-AID)
Natural disasters and conflicts catch a lot of people off guard
and unprepared thereby making them very vulnerable to abuse especially
women and girls. The Foundation has always joined the quick response
team in collecting supplies, food water clothing and money then
making them available to in a very timely way to those in need
and first responders.
Information,
Education & Communication (IEC)
The Foundation’s Information, Education and Communication
activity is the most fun. The Foundation works with local communities
to organize traditional dances and soccer matches during which
thousand of pamphlets and condoms have been distributed over the
years.
